At Pups and Pines Lodge, summer days are made for fresh mountain air, pine views, backyard barbecues, and evenings soaking in the private hot tub under the stars. Set in Sugarloaf with hiking trails and neighborhood parks just minutes away, this spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bath mountain retreat gives families, friends, and their dogs plenty of room to spread out while still keeping everyone connected. The fully fenced backyard, multiple outdoor spaces, wood-burning fireplace, games, and well-equipped kitchen make the home equally comfortable for active days outside and relaxed evenings in.

Inside, approximately 1,684 square feet of thoughtfully arranged living space blends mountain character with practical comforts. The open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen create an easy gathering space where everyone can cook, eat, play games, or settle in for a movie together.

A wood-burning fireplace adds cozy lodge atmosphere, while ceiling fans, solar screens, double-paned windows, and natural cross breezes help keep the home comfortable during the warmer summer months.

Sleeping Arrangements

The home offers 6 beds across 4 bedrooms:

Big Bear Bedroom – 1 King bed and 2 Double beds
Downstairs Bedroom – 1 Queen bed
Ski Lift Bedroom – 1 Queen bed
Woodsy Books Bedroom – 1 Queen bed
No sofa beds, trundles, or rollaway beds

The spacious upstairs Big Bear Bedroom features a king bed, vaulted ceilings, a private balcony, two ceiling fans, generous closet space, and its own Roku TV. Guests who prefer to avoid stairs can choose the first-floor queen bedroom, conveniently located near a full bathroom.

Outdoor Living
Step outside to a fully fenced backyard designed for both people and pups. Soak in the private hot tub after a day on the trails, stretch out in the hammock, enjoy dinner outdoors, or fire up the gas griddle grill for an easy barbecue.

Cornhole and Giant Connect Four add another way to spend time outside, while the backyard becomes a peaceful spot for stargazing after dark.


Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is set up for guests who genuinely enjoy cooking. Along with everyday essentials, you will find a Keurig, espresso machine, traditional coffee setup, induction cookers, waffle maker, rice cooker, blender, griddle, baking supplies, cookware, and a stocked spice selection.

Gather around the dining table for a full meal or keep things casual after a day exploring.

Entertainment & Family Time
Pups and Pines Lodge is designed for evenings together, with retro arcade games, board games, poker chips and cards, children’s books, children’s games, family games stored in the hallway chest, and outdoor games.

Five Roku TVs throughout the home provide plenty of entertainment when everyone wants to wind down.

Dog-Friendly Details
Dogs are truly considered part of the experience here. The home includes a fenced yard, two large dog crates, a professional dog-waste station, and dog-friendly outdoor space, making it especially convenient for guests traveling with their canine companions. Sorry, no cats allowed.

With hiking trails, Sugarloaf Park, and Bark Park just minutes away, Pups and Pines Lodge is especially well suited for year-round mountain adventures, followed by relaxed evenings around the house, on the deck, or in the hot tub.
