Pleasant stay and very responsive owners. They answered immediately when we had questions and were accommodating and flexible. Some things to consider that are in the description and easy to gloss over are that the bathroom is located downstairs (bedroom upstairs), and there is no AC upstairs, just window fans.

My friend and I had a great time. It was easy to read and relax and just enjoy the day. It’s not far from downtown Bigbear. Be aware that the place you have to empty your trash is on the other side of town probably 15 to 20 minutes away. Would love to stay again someday.

THE LIL FOX RETREAT is super cute, clean, and relaxing. We had a great time. Host sent suggestions on activities and recommendations on local restaurants. The house was very comfortable and our dogs enjoyed it too. Loved the projection TV 📺. The hot tub was a plus to this awesome retreat. Would recommend. Would love to return and stay again. 🤩😍

This was our second stay at this Sky high property and we love it! The A frame architecture is so attractive and well supported by the decor. Favorite is the giant Jeffrey pine that centers out the back floor to ceiling a frame window and eating on back deck watching the wildlife and taking a soak. The bed is comfy and all is well appointed. I noticed a can opener was missing from the otherwise well appointed kitchen in the middle of a recipe prep. If you’re the next guest I bought one and left it there. Leanne is responsive and I get the AI vibe- but it got a spa tech to fix the tub which wasn’t holding heat so such is our world. We give the experience a favorite will return rating.

We love this spot and have stayed in this exact home for at least four years in a row now as a family. We love the views of Boulder Bay, and the house has lots of nice amenities that work for a wide range of guests. We always bring our wake Boat, so having a private slip is a priority for us. The house is well stocked, and comfortably can fit 16 people.

We had a great time. Was well worth the money. My 12, 13, & 19 year old grandkids had a wonderful time as well. They loved the pool table and swimming in the lake. They each caught their first fish. There will be nothing but good memories from this trip.

We had such a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and very clean, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the big windows, the peaceful surroundings, and spending time out on the deck. The location was also perfect—close to the lake and everything we wanted to do in Big Bear.The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. 5/5 stars! Our family had an amazing mountain getaway in Big Bear. Traveling with two adults, four kids, and two dogs can be a lot, but this home made it easy and super comfortable for everyone. The property had everything we needed, and we wouldn’t change a single thing about our stay. We would love to stay here again in the future!

We loved our stay! This is our 4th year going up in the summer! The central AC was key, but it is set to 71 at the coolest, so we ran the ceiling fans as well. There were a couple ants here and there but didn't bother us too much. The power did go out for a couple hours during a thunderstorm, we are glad it was restored quickly. Our favorite nearby activity was kayaking and paddleboarding at Boulder Bay! The house is very nicely decorated and has almost everything you could need when traveling.

This house was beyond our expectations. The photos do not do it justice. The house was absolutely massive, and exceptionally clean. They had every possible amenity you could think to ask for. The 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms made such a huge difference for our large group. There are many spaces to gather and relax. The yard is deceptively large. The host, Leanne, is excellent at her job. We have rented from her in the past, and her properties are exceptional. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Great stay from booking to after checkout. Communication was fast and the house was as described. Beautiful grounds and neighborhood. They had a dog bed for Princess Leia which was a lovely touch. The pinball machines were a lot of fun, we got our moneys worth on those!

As an AirBnB newbie - Leanne was super responsive and helpful. Booked her cabin for my wife and my 16th Anniversary - and couldn’t have been a better experience. The cabin was just as the photos - absolutely stunning. Every amenity you could think of and then some were carefully curated. The home was spotless and a pleasure to stay in. Couldn’t recommend Rockspray more - and we look forward to booking with Leanne when we visit Big Bear again. 5-Stars!!!

Our whole family enjoyed our stay at Leanne’s cabin. The board games along with the foosball table had us entertained for hours. The cabin exceeded our expectations, cleanliness was top tier and super cozy, it is a great place to take your family which we will be doing again in the future. Thank you again Leanne!!!

Leanne's Midnight Chalet is everything she says it is. Very relaxing, quiet, beautiful view out of the back windows of the surrounding trees in the area. Good location, nice area to walk around in the evenings, lake very closeby.

Beautiful property, wonderfully decorated, fun for a family or for a group of friends. The house is huge and is very well decorated. It is equipped with everything you would need from the kitchen to the games/entertainment. Bedding was amazing. Extremely comfortable! We had a wonderful stay at this cute and clean cabin in Big Bear! I celebrated my birthday here with my family, and it was the perfect place to relax, make memories, and enjoy quality time together. We spent our days BBQing, soaking in the hot tub, and taking in the beautiful mountain atmosphere.The cabin was very well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our family had a wonderful stay at The Lark! The home is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It offered plenty of space for our family of four and our dog, and we immediately felt at home.The game room was a huge hit with everyone—especially the pinball machines and Nintendo Switch. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring and made the stay even more memorable.The host was fantastic, checking in to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed. Their communication was friendly, prompt, and thoughtful throughout our stay.If you’re looking for a comfortable, fun, and well-appointed place to stay, I highly recommend The Lark. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to book another stay!

Loved this high-end, well built A-frame getaway along with the appealing, carefully selected decor.The biggest hit for the kids and the adult children alike, was the game room and movie theater room. Would recommend putting in some kind of ventilation system in the theater though. Could get rather stuffy and hot at times.The front deck was enjoyed by all during the cool of the morning & evening. Honestly, the biggest challenge was figuring out how to mitigate the summer heat in a mountain A-frame without AC.First night- the top floor bedroom was nearly unbearable. My son-in-law figured out that placing the box fan in the window, took care of the problem.Family memories were made here and there’s a good chance we will be booking this gem again. Thanks Leanne for taken care of us!

The lake house is right at the marina- so walkable to rent kayaks, SUPs, jet skis, boats and take the (sunset) tiki boat. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio (once it was in the shade- house faces due east) and playing corn hole in the yard. We were there in late July, and while the home doesn’t have A/C, the evenings were cool and we were able to keep the house at a very pleasant temperature. I personally loved sleeping with the windows open and the ceiling fans on.

Leanne’s place is great, very clean inside out. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. Microwave, toaster, the refrigerator has an ice dispenser etc. Plenty of board games to play with in the living room. A/C in the living room with ceiling fans in every room. Nice Gas BBQ and fire pit with plenty of furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Hot tub which we didn’t get a chance to use since we were too busy exploring the lake surroundings. I would definitely recommend this Cabin to anyone, I personally will be coming back to Leanne’s place.

We had an epic time at the Honey Bear Lodge! We had a large group, 15 people including 5 kids under six so there was a lot going on and it was absolutely perfect for us. Location was great, easy to get to and we loved being on the lake with our own dock. House was exactly as pictured, spacious enough for us all with all of our stuff - and with little ones we had a lot of stuff. We cooked every meal at the house and they are seriously stocked with cookware, plate ware, utensils etc. Hosts were amazing too, one of the kids was stung by a yellow jacket at they sent pest control to take care of it right away. Plenty of blankets, towels, and toilet paper. We did bring extra paper towels and trash bags. It was hot but we knew there wasn’t AC - they had plenty of fans for each room and we were totally fine. Lots of spider webs outside, but it’s a lake! Would recommend for large groups!

The place was perfect for our group of three families. There was lots of space for the kids to run around and games to play. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. Bathrooms well stocked with shampoo and conditioner which is always appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. It was exactly as described and pictured. The location was absolutely beautiful. It was on the water (not swimmable) and got to see some water birds and coyotes. The AC worked so well for a very hot weekend too.

We had an incredible stay at Hawk Ridge. The cabin was beautiful and the surrounding houses were amazing as well. The host was fast in responding and accommodated a late checkout. We would love to stay here again!

We had the best time staying in this special place! We were equipped with plenty of instructions for a seamless arrival. The house was spotless and we loved using the outdoor grill and board games. If I had to nitpick one small thing to make this place truly perfect - it would be to please add black out shades in the bedroom at the peak of the A-frame. The window is east-facing and the sun in the morning was strong! Bring eye masks! Otherwise a perfectly wonderful and peaceful stay. Thank you!
