Big Bear Cabin & Vacation Rentals

Group of 14 adults. This was an amazing place to stay! Very spacious living space, kitchen, and bar area. The backyard was amazing for building snowmen, hot tub, and direct access to the lake for some cold plunges! The views were incredible.

There’s plenty of space for privacy and quiet time, as the bedrooms are tucked away from the living room area. The master bedroom was stunning, but the curtains did not properly close. Bunk beds were not very ideal as we were all adults, but would definitely be suitable for kiddos. Overall my whole group liked the rooms and slept well!

We cooked all our meals at the house. Their cutting boards & pots and pans were very old, so I recommend bringing your own for the trip. There were plenty of cups and utensils to use. The oven was difficult to use due to faded buttons, but we eventually figured it out!

Leanne was a fantastic and responsive host. She checked in often and timely before and during the stay.

Had a wonderful stay! The jacuzzi was definitely a highlight—so relaxing, especially with the snow surrounding the area. The place was cozy and well-equipped, making it the perfect winter retreat. Everything was just right, and we really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. The minute I walked in it felt cozy. The house smelled amazing. Everything was just right . The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds were comfy, they had many games to play to keep me and my nieces entertained. I have no complaints. The house manual was straight forward and easy to understand, had all my questions answered.

Loved my stay at Leanne’s cabin! Super cozy, peaceful, and beautiful. Great place to stay at in Big Bear!

Sky High Mountain Lodge was absolute perfection.

Sky High Mountain Lodge was the best-suited for our big family and by far the best location since we started going to Big Bear for our Christmas celebration. Our immediate family consists of 12, including my husband and myself, and six adult children, four of which have spouses. It can be difficult to find a home large enough to accommodate everyone's needs and wants, but they delivered.

The home is very close to "The Village" with shopping, restaurants, and plenty of things to do. With a view of the lake and the quiet surroundings it is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax after a day out and about or a day at the slopes. The jacuzzi was fabulous and large enough to fit most of us. It also had strong jets to get to those sore muscles.

All of the bathrooms had plenty of towels, tissues, and toilet paper. This is a must, but apparently a hard mark to hit.

We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful stay! Upon arrival, slightly dusty in parts of the house but overall very clean. Leanne’s instructions were clear on how to get in and around the house. Had an incident with the garage door not closing but Leanne was very fast and efficient with resolving the issue. Location perfect for those looking to snowboard/ski at Bear Resort or Snow Summit. Big Bear Resort being only a 3 min walk away. House had more than enough space for 8 people w/ the game room being one of the highlights. Would definitely recommend and come back for another trip!

I highly recommend this place, it is close to all the activities you can do in Big Bear. Also, the host is super friendly, answers super fast and if there is any problem she tries to solve it right away. The place is clean and very comfortable.

Me and my friends really loved this place as it was extremely affordable, the host was amazing, and especially with the location of the home being really close to the resort was so nice! I will always keep in mind of this place next time we are in town and wanting to book with this host for exactly this home due to everything that they had offered here!

A very cozy, clean and welcoming cabin. We will definitely come back to this cabin. We had welcoming snacks, a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon which was delicious. All rooms were clean, no weird smell on bedding. They had a booklet of activities to do for various people and places to eat around the area which I found very helpful.

cozy, clean, charming! the cabin was very organized & stocked w/ everything you need to feel at home, there’s a lot of thoughtful touches they put effort into, to make your stay a great experience. it’s also riiight down the street from everything!

Perfect spot for a family to walk to Snow Summit, relax in a cozy cabin, play games, soak in a hot tub under the stars, and recover after a fun day on the mountain. We’ll be back for sure!

The pictures of the place do do it justice. Felt like a hallmark movie when we stayed there. Beautiful cabin. It was absolutely perfect.

Esta cabaña es magnífica. Hogareña, práctica, divertida. Leanne no tarda en responder y es muy amable, desde antes de nuestra estancia nos envió toda la información correspondiente a la reserva y a las normas de Big Bear Lake. Tuvimos suerte porque al segundo día de nuestra llegada nevó y así pudimos esquiar con un paisaje pintado de blanco con nieve natural. Un día utilizamos el jacuzzi y está muy bien. Tip: hay 3 thrift stores en la ciudad, hummingbird, seniors y doves. Si vas a esquiar, te recomiendo buscar ropa/equipo en esas tiendas ya que el precio de compra/renta en otros lugares es elevado. El único detalle que tuvimos en nuestra estancia fue el tema de la basura... pregunta los horarios de los basureros públicos con anticipación.

The house was beautiful and the view was stunning. It was also just a short walk to Snow Summit which was very convenient. However, had to drive 5 minutes to dispose the trash and put the trash on the car.. Host was responsive and respectful. Would recommend.
