Nice home, we had a great stay during the snow!

Our group had booked a different property and unfortunately it was not in good condition so we had to quickly rebook. Leanne was the best! So responsive and caring. I had 5 kids cold and hungry after traveling. Leanne wasted no time! The property itself was a dream! Comfy, warm, amazing location and just perfect for our group. Kitchen was well stocked with any utensils or appliances we needed to cook . Living room was cozy and enough seating for all. The game/bunk room for the kids was an absolute hit. The whole house was well thought out. I’ve rented a lot of vacation homes and this ranks at the top! I seriously cannot thank the host enough for her quick responses and getting us in on such short notice. I wish all hosts were like this 🙂.

Beautiful cabin. We stayed for 3 nights, 4 nights and 3 kids. We had everything we needed to cook all the meals, we all felt like we had a lots of space, the kids had the play room which was excellent.

What a great home! The house was spotless, cozy and we felt right at home. There was plenty of space for everyone in our family. The kids loved the bunk room and we loved the master. The linens were fresh and felt luxurious. We had too short of a stay and would love to come back.

Beautiful! Such an amazing home, lived up to expectations regarding the photos and description and it’s pet friendly! It is a comfortable and homey place, neighborhood was very beautiful as well. Stores and restaurants even skiing resorts are very close to this home which is a huge plus! Everything about this home was a 10/10! The one and only issue we had was getting up the icy drive way which we were warned how it is at a slope but even with chains it was quite difficult. Leanne is an amazing host, very attentive and kind! Leanne quickly answered all our questions before and during our stay and instructions for check in/out were clear which made it all such a breeze.

We had a wonderful stay! Home is perfect for a group of friends looking to get away. Great layout and the house has everything you may need. The driveway was icy when we got there so that was a bit of a bummer after not needing chains up the mountain, but Leanne got someone out in less than 20 minutes to assist us. We plan on staying here again next time and all gave it an overall 10/10!

What a gem!

Our family has vacationed to Big Bear for years and we all felt Leanne’s home was the perfect place - so much so that we might come back again this season! We brought our two little ones (3 and 1) and our two dogs, and some extended family (there were 9 of us total) and felt immediately at home - it was clean, well stocked in amenities (washer/dryer was critical with kids and the kitchen was fully stocked with amenities and tools - we cooked every meal at home!). The game room was a huge hit, as was the jacuzzi.

Leanne is very proactive and responsive in her communication, check in was super easy, as was check out - all in all it was a fantastic five star experience between the home and host! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Leanne!

This is only my 4th Airbnb in about 7 or 8 years so it goes without saying I choose my stays carefully and research them painstakingly when I do, I suppose. With the many rules to follow and read one can never be too cautious, else your vacation ruined with a warning, citation or outright eviction.
None of those things happened, thankfully. One is because for our Thanksgiving week, I just had me and my wife and our 2 cuddly and house trained dogs. Yes this is one of the few pet friendly stays!
We had my son and his wife come over one day before we checked out and that was all of us so we fit right in that quiet neighhorhood. After all, that quiet is what we were after during the Thanksgiving holiday. Leanne (text)and (was it)Tiffany (at check-in) were very helpful and responsive, even though there was quite a bit of a line at check-in. Finding this house was a bit confusing at first, because of the steep driveway with an accumulation of snow at the start of the climb, and because all the lights in the house were turned off so all of the area where I was trying to verify the location was pretty much pitch black, thanks in part to Daylight Saving Time that even at check in time or around 6 pm it’s already very dark. That was ok, and not an issue for the more adventurous in us. Later on, we figured there was a more manageable side of the driveway to access and we used that.
What can I say? As lights turned on and we began entering the house, it was all joy from there. First, the welcome basket: it had all the essentials. Very thoughtful. I kept the lotion and chapstick with me at all times til now. We had the wine smack right for our dinners, and the cards, the little snacks (for us and our furry babies), and candies were a delight when watching movies and cuddling by the Christmas Tree. I wasn’t able to use the fireplace even though we brought firewood because the place was well heated and I didnt want to add ash disposal as another hassle before leaving🙃.
The heated floors, the individual room heaters, the jacuzzi in the master bath, the game room and of course the hot tub were the great winter features of this house. If we have the pleasure of being able to come back in the summer, we will get to use the front deck with the grill and the table with chairs to hang out. The furnitures and appliances are pretty modern and user friendly. The place was magical- at least for our small group and pretty close to wherever you want to go at Big Bear. I’d recommend this place but I hope it won’t be too busy and too used up by the time we would decide to come back and use it again lol!

The home was very clean and cozy. There were 7 of us and 1 dog and the place felt spacious. My parents loved hanging out on the patio swing enjoying the fresh air. The location is perfect, very close to main road, grocery and the lake. I highly recommend to stay here.

Wow, what a fantastic home in a wonderful location. A 2 min drive to groceries, and a 10 minute drive to downtown. Our check in process was easy, and the young lady at the check in location was a GEM. The home was clean, organized, and worked perfect for our family of (4) + (2) small puppies. The kitchen is large, well stocked, and easy to cook in. The home nicely upgraded, and is nestled in a warm residential area surround by tall trees. NOTE: Many homes in the area are rentals, and we ended up having an issue with a near by home having an extremely loud house party. Luckily... our host was responsive, as was code enforcement who quickly dispatched to inform them of the rules. Our boys loved the dart board, shuffle board, and games. We will be back. TIP: No need to drive in any food, great shopping at the bottom of the hill when you arrive. We will be back! Thanks again 🙂
