The Space

Sky High Mountain Lodge sits on the edge of the world with sweeping panoramic views of the lake and the Big Bear Valley.

This home pulls out all the stops with views from every window, 4 fireplaces, jacuzzi spa tubs with multi level decks with top views of the lake including a movie theatre and game room!

Enjoy the jacuzzi and views on the huge rear deck. Truly one of Big Bear’s most epic and luxurious homes featuring over 5,000 sq ft of soaring vaulted ceilings with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths.

Gourmet kitchen with knotty pine cabinets, granite counters and stainless appliances. Beautiful slate floors.

Six bedrooms, with two Master Suites, sleeps the whole crew. Everyone will be comfortable with our newly added air conditioning.

The main Master Suites are a marvel with gorgeous bathrooms with Jacuzzi spa tubs and fireplaces. Top-of-the-line sinks, fixtures and fans.

Upstairs features a den/bar/game room with air hockey and pool table, with the best views in the house.

The basement level features a home theater with reclining leather chairs and an additional game room.

Hot tub on the enormous rear deck with views.

Walking distance to The Village, lake and hiking trails. Sky High Mountain Lodge is close to Big Bear Lake and The Village.

					Sky High Mountain Lodge was absolute perfection.

 

Sky High Mountain Lodge was the best-suited for our big family and by far the best location since we started going to Big Bear for our Christmas celebration. Our immediate family consists of 12, including my husband and myself, and six adult children, four of which have spouses. It can be difficult to find a home large enough to accommodate everyone's needs and wants, but they delivered. 



The home is very close to "The Village" with shopping, restaurants, and plenty of things to do. With a view of the lake and the quiet surroundings it is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax after a day out and about or a day at the slopes. The jacuzzi was fabulous and large enough to fit most of us. It also had strong jets to get to those sore muscles.



All of the bathrooms had plenty of towels, tissues, and toilet paper. This is a must, but apparently a hard mark to hit.



We will definitely be back.

					We had a great stay at this cabin, everything was very spacious and the hosts were very responsive to answer any questions. The cabin was beautiful and it was located in a very quiet area only a couple minutes away from Big Bear's main street.

					Amazing home. I had a full house as this was a family planned/oriented trip and the home was everything and more for all of us. Plenty of room and almost anything we needed to feel comfortable. The host was super friendly and provided quick responses. Beautiful area and really private, would love to spend time here again.

					amazing stay with a great and quiet outdoor surrounding. It is located in a cul-de-sac with a little hiking spot with a clear view of the alpine slides. It is also within 15-20 mins walking distance to the village. The home was warm and cozy with lots of entertainment spaces perfectly suited for a large party. The only thing we had concerns about were the pots and pans that we were planning to use for our meals in the kitchen. There were a great variety but many were dusty or dirty. We can only assume that it was due to previous guests not cleaning them properly. The circulation fan for the stove was quite loud if used in the early morning or late night since it seemed industrial graded but there are many points of natural circulation so not a big concern. Other than that, the host Leanne is very responsive and helpful and was even able to give us a bit of extra time for checkout, which we were very grateful for

					Really great layout of the space for big hangouts. Lots of seating and a great big dining table for family feasts. They even had a high chair and crib which was really helpful. Kitchen stocked well. Communication was great too. Highly recommend for big groups.

					We loved our stay here!!  It did not disappoint and was perfect for our large group.  We had room to spare!

The kitchen was great and had ample supplies and space to cook for a large crew when everyone was there.  The dining room table is not only stunning but a great place to gather.

Major bonus is that the game room is separate from the sleeping rooms!  Not something I looked for but was glad we had. People were able to enjoy that space without disturbing others that went to bed.  

The decks were great and a wonderful place to spend some time and the hot tub was enjoyed by all.  

The special touches upon arrival and throughout the house like snacks and hot chocolate added so much.  

The host response was also fast and helpful.  Housekeeping responded in minutes to a request we made.

The location is great, there were not people staying on the side which might have altered the privacy, but it was quiet overall even being by the Alpine slide.  

We are already dreaming of a return stay!

					We had a multi-family weekend stay at Leanne's cabin. There was a lot of space and we never felt cramped. Great amenities and Leanne was a very friendly and responsive host. Had a great welcome when we first got there; there were some lights on so we weren't entering into a dark house and there were a variety of snacks nicely laid out on the table. We will definitely try to return!

					My family and I had an amazing stay! This home is absolutely beautiful and had everything my large family needed. We enjoyed the spacious living rooms playing a variety of games, watching TV and taking naps. The dining table sat all 16 of us comfortably and we enjoyed all our meals that we cooked in the fabulous kitchen! We had so much fun playing pool and the arcade games and we were able to watch the Olympics on the projector theater style. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The house was very clean and up kept. Leanne was easy and quick to communicate with. I don’t have anything negative to say about the home or our stay.
